Two walls and an harsh noise piece. Made as a response to Cécile Delassalle's enquiry about a storm-related memory.
We were in St-Malo (Brittany, France) at the beach. It was February, very cold and rainy. We saw a storm coming from the sea, a rain curtain moving toward us, progressively turning the boats and islands afar into a great big block of grey. So everyone rushed to the city, and try to get shelter in the first bar we would get to. Everyone got in there drenched and freezing, but laughing.
All sounds made digitally using Max/MSP.
Pink noise with various waveshaping and filters.
Cover art made with Stable Diffusion and Photoshop.
